INTERMEDIATE - JEWELRY DESIGN
The aim of the course is to involve the students inside the Jewellery design environment, following the process collection through a series of theoretical and pratical lessons. The course analyses the jewellery market evolution with particular interest to the future trends.

Collection, design concept
Design and Research of a concept, of precious metal, precious stone, colours, accessories, including co-ordination of a personal collection.

Trends/Research
Analysis of the elements that influence jewellery trends: lifestyle, precious metal, precious stone, colours, volumes.

Marketing Communication
Marketing Communication techniques related to jewellery sector, how the companies face the business environment and approach to the global market.

The present course is combined with a 1-week course of Italian language starting on June the 19th and an intedisciplinary week of visits in the city of Milan and its surroundings sarting from June the 26th.
This 5-week course (3 weeks of design, 1 week of Italian and 1 week of interdisciplary activities) corresponds to 6 US transfer credits.
