Once the residence permit has been issued, you will need to go to the ASL (Azienda Sanitaria Locale) offices (National Health Service offices) in via Darwin 20 and register with the Italian health service (student rates are 149,77 €) to be covered for any medical care on the same basis as an Italian citizen. This registration is not mandatory but highly recommended to students attending the three years BA program.

EU students can ask for health assistance to the ASL offices in the area they live in, by presenting the E128 form or the European Health Insurance Card released by health offices in their home country.
